Welcome to Blue Roof Equestrian Center, a full-care facility located on 40 picturesque acres in Lafayette, Colorado. We offer a home for your horse and your passion for learning the art of dressage, groundwork or trail riding. While our "Blue Roof" covers our indoor arena, our professionalism and expertise cover everything we do here, ensuring an unsurpassed level of trust in our care for your horse.  

Located close to Boulder and Denver, Blue Roof offers a tranquil equestrian escape easily accessed from anywhere. We offer boarding, training, lessons and clinics. We look forward to you and your horse becoming part of our extended family.

We created Blue Roof Equestrian Center for one reason: the well-being of your horse.

We believe in dressage for the horse, to improve the physical and mental health of every single horse, regardless of breed.  The true meaning of dressage is training.  Our goal is to raise the horse/person partnership through dressage, to the next level of commitment, fitness and happiness.

We also believe that every horse needs some variety in their life.  In order to honor that goal, we make available a number of options for them to remain fresh and engaged. These include, trail riding, ground work, games, quadrille and even working cows!

Everything we do here, from nutrition and turnout to tack and footing is done in harmony with our commitment to putting the physical and mental well-being of your horse above all. We are an educational community of horse lovers under one roof.

  • We feed grass and/or alfalfa (that is grown in our fields) four times a day

  • We feed high quality grain; however, we understand that your horse may have special dietary needs and are happy to offer your provided grain and supplements.

  • Big Barn 12 x 12 stall w/24' run           

  • Small Barn 12 x 12 stall w/16' run        

  • Shed Row w/24' run  

At Blue Roof Equestrian Center, we treat all our visitors, human and equine, as we would expect our own to be treated. Every detail is double-checked and no special requests are dismissed.
